Today I was one of the members in the team performing the play back theatre for the population at our research site. I have fortunately been part of two previous play back performances hosted by SWATANTRA THEATRE (one as actor and other as conductor) but this time I found the play back theatre experience as performer was very unique, primarily because of the space in which it was being performed. The other thing which I adored for this playback show under the theme of AN UNFORGETTABLE EVENT of their life was the process of it, under this theme the canvas of the story which could come was very wide, which was very exciting. The stories when narrated, seemed very simple but when we were performing it, we could understand the complexities of simple story which I personally felt was more complex than any emotionally elaborated story.This whole play-back show with live trash band music also was helpful to look for any music interested Individuals to include for the bigger play. We could gather stories and here is hope that we could have performing steering committee with us soon, enough!
